This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled across the websites, applications, and services provided and published by Dotweb Solutions AB ("Dotweb", "we", "us"), a company registered in Sweden (org.nr 559560-0320).

For our own websites and services, Dotweb is the controller of your personal data. For applications and services we build, publish, or host on behalf of a business client, that client is the controller and Dotweb acts as a service provider that processes data on the client's instructions. Where a product is operated for a client, you can reach that client using the support contact shown in the product.

Information we collect

Depending on the product or service you use, we may collect:

Account and contact details, such as your name, email address, and phone number, when a product requires an account or when you contact us.
Location data, where a product provides location-based features, and only while you use those features.
Device and notification data, such as device identifiers and a notification token, used to operate a product and deliver notifications.
Usage and diagnostic data, such as how you interact with a product and error or crash reports, used to keep our products reliable and to improve them.
Content you provide, such as information or files you choose to submit while using a product or service.

We do not use an advertising identifier, we do not show ads, and we do not sell your personal data.

How we use your data

To provide, operate, and maintain our products and services.
To create and manage accounts and, where applicable, your role in a service.
To send operational notifications and to respond to your requests.
To keep our services secure and to prevent fraud and misuse.
To measure and improve reliability and performance.
To meet legal and regulatory obligations.

Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract, our and our clients' legitimate interests in operating and improving the services, your consent where required (for example optional analytics, which you can turn off where offered), and compliance with legal obligations.

We share personal data only as needed to operate our products, with:

Providers that help us run our services, including hosting and cloud infrastructure, notification delivery, analytics, and mapping and navigation (such as Google Maps).
A business client, where a product is built, published, or hosted on their behalf.

These providers process data only as needed to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data where required by law. We do not sell personal data.

Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as it is needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations. When it is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, sensitive credentials are stored securely, and access to our systems is restricted.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below, or the relevant business client where a product is operated on their behalf. If you are in the EU or EEA, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Sweden this is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).

Deleting your data

Children

Our products are intended for general and business use and are not directed to children.

International transfers

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page.
